Montagna, Italy. Bep went to Weedville Elementary and graduated from Weedville High School.
After graduating, Bep spent 3 years working at CCS camps in Johnstown, Siegel, and Potter County at Kettle Creek. After CCS, Bep joined the Army
where he served for 4 years during WW2 as a Surgical and Medical Technician, serving in North Africa, Italy, France and England. When the war
was over, he was stationed on an Army hospital ship, "USS Chateau Thierry". On this ship he served in the Philippines, and he was later
discharged from the Army while serving at Camp Beal, CA.
After being separated from the Army, he spent some time in Weedville and enjoyed playing baseball with the local valley boys.
In 1948 Bep secured work with Ford Motor Company's assembly plant in Edison, NJ where he was a certified x ray technician. He retired from Ford
Motor in 1979.
His brother William "Emo" Peretti also served with the Army during WW2. His sisters included Ann, Tillie, Tootie, and Mary. His wife died in
1978, and Bep has lived alone ever since. He still resides in New Brunswick, NJ, where he is active hunting & fishing and enjoys good health.
